Jubilee buns and pretty clothes

Yesterday I used made Jubilee buns for the boys - blueberry buns with vanilla frosting and British themed edible decorations:

Resin hair grips

Yesterday I got out my polyester resin and moulds and made some pretty hair grips:
I also made the ever popular dove ones but I'm still waiting for pins for these:

A summer dress

I made this lovely dress yesterday :)
It's my adaptation of several vintage early 1970s patterns. I've previously made it as a winter dress with long sleeves.

Heavenly tees

I found some unused navy tees when tidying the boys' wardrobes and could resist doing a bit of bleach dyeing with them. A recent article, I think it was in Altered Couture, inspired me to create a universe. I used Jacquard and tulip paints to create highlights.

Gorgeous fabric delivery

I've just received a delivery of fabric to make some stock for Buy British Month on Cloth Nappy Addicts. It was difficult to decide as I fell in love with so many but these were the ones I finally chose as my base fabrics:
